About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Ministry Officer to play a key role in fostering collaboration with the local non-profit sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing partnerships with 15-25 local non-profits, ensuring they receive the necessary financial and volunteer support to maximize their impact in the community. This role involves strategically identifying pressing community needs, mobilizing resources, and overseeing large-scale service events. The Chief Ministry Officer will also be expected to embody a servant leadership philosophy, driving community engagement while ensuring alignment with the organization's mission of holistic support.
Candidates for the Chief Ministry Officer position should have a Bachelor's degree, with significant non-profit organization experience being ideal. The role requires a candidate who is business and non-profit savvy, understands the local church culture, and is passionate about serving the community. Personal characteristics include a deep love for Jesus and His church, a commitment to the organization's mission and DNA, and a strong understanding of partnership development principles. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in community outreach, partnership management, and a strong ability to coordinate and manage large-scale events and volunteer efforts. Familiarity with community service best practices and a commitment to the principles of 'when helping hurts' are also essential.
