Upper Elementary General Studies Teacher
Brauser Maimonides Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Upper Elementary
General Studies Teacher to join our exceptional team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal
candidate will possess prior teaching experience, a passion for education, and strong classroom
management skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a warm and nurturing

Key Responsibilities:
● Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in core subjects such as Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
● Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
● Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
● Assess student progress through various formative and summative methods, and use data to guide instruction.
● Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student performance and address concerns.
● Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share best practices.
● Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
● Uphold the mission and values of Brauser Maimonides Academy in all interactions with students, staff, and families.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
● Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the upper elementary level preferred but not required.
● Proven ability to implement effective classroom management techniques.
● Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● A commitment to fostering a love of learning and developing the whole child.
