Position Details This role involves engaging with Business Units to manage risks and controls, executing risk program requirements (e.g., RCSA, KRIs), providing risk advice, and reporting risks. The position requires monitoring and remediating control weaknesses, executing risk mitigation strategies, and supporting risk management initiatives. Responsibilities Provide risk advice to business areas to strengthen control environments and ensure compliance. Identify and remediate control gaps. Monitor, measure, and escalate risks; report findings to leadership. Execute risk program requirements, including control monitoring and testing. Manage controls, including those related to SOX and regulatory compliance. Support risk management initiatives and special projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field. 3-6 years of experience in risk management within a financial institution. Understanding of SOX and industry regulations. Knowledge of operational and non-financial risks. Strong communication skills and computer proficiency. Willingness to travel occasionally. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Finance or Business. Over 6 years of banking or relevant experience. Audit experience and FINRA licenses (Series 7, 24, 53, 66).
