Kaweah Health is a publicly owned, community healthcare organization that provides comprehensive health services to the greater Visalia area in central California. The Practice Manager manages day-to-day clinic operations and long-term planning of clinic services in collaboration with the clinic health care team. Responsibilities include creating a work environment that facilitates personal growth and well-being, managing clinic practices and flow, establishing and updating clinic policies and procedures, developing new outpatient clinics, managing clinic budgets, improving clinic operations related to goals, quality standards, and patient satisfaction, handling patient complaints and service recovery, acting as the clinic expert and resource for Joint Commission, supporting clinic providers, implementing new programs for expanded clinic services, managing the family medicine resident clinic and ensuring GME regulations are met, preparing discussion topics and trainings for resident business and GME family medicine meetings, and coordinating clinic operations with the Medical Director, faculty, and residents. Additional duties include outreach and coordination with outside agencies and community resources. Qualifications include Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire, preferred experience in an academic residency clinic setting, and three years management experience in a multi-disciplinary clinic setting. For GME-Family Medicine Clinic, three years healthcare management experience is required.
