Job Description

Our Plano-based client is in search of a Project Manager for a 3-month contract opportunity. The Project Manager will lead end-to-end management of technical and non-technical projects in support of the broader Project Management Office Priorities. They will proactively facilitate resourcing, documentation, communication, and cross-departmental collaboration.

This on-site position can sit in Dallas, TX, or Vancouver, WA.

SALARY OFFERED: Up to $65/HR depending on the candidate’s experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead end-to-end management of projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage a team toward a common goal, without direct management authority, ensuring proper resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to resolve issues proactively.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, technical specifications, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and changes.
  • Manage project documentation, including requirements, change requests, and post implementation reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, including leading large-scale projects.
  • PMP Certificate or MBA preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (ex: Microsoft Project, Jira).
  • Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, administration, and systems integration.
